Take the meeting for a walk. Roomtone keeps up.
A walking meeting has no table to put a laptop on and no hands free for a notepad. Roomtone records from your pocket, screen locked, and writes it up when you are back at your desk.
Free to start · three recordings, no card

The problems you know too well
Nothing to write on, and nowhere to prop a phone
A walking conversation only works if both hands stay free.
The best ideas in a walk are the first ones forgotten
Without a record, a good line from twenty minutes ago is gone by the time you sit down.
Voice memos are not a written note
Nobody re-listens to forty minutes of audio to find the one decision that mattered.
What you get
Screen locked, still recording
Put the phone in a pocket and walk — recording keeps going without the screen on.
Survives a call mid-walk
An interrupting phone call does not end the recording; the pieces come back as one file.
Structured write-up
Summary, decisions and action items — not a transcript to re-read on the way back.
Ask it anything
"What did we land on?" — answered from what was actually said, once you are back at a desk.
One button before you leave
Tap record on the way out the door; nothing else to set up.
Export and share
Send the write-up to whoever wasn't on the walk.
Perfect for

- Phone calls taken outside
Questions
Does wind or traffic noise ruin the transcript?+
Background noise makes any recording harder to transcribe accurately, walking meetings included. A quieter route and the phone held or worn close to you gets noticeably better results than a phone in a bag.
Does a bot join my meeting?+
Only if you send one. Paste a Zoom, Meet or Teams link and a notetaker joins that meeting, visible to everyone in it. For anything else — a table, a car, a site walk — Roomtone records the room from your phone, where no bot can go at all.
Is there a free plan?+
Yes. Three recordings, up to 30 minutes each, with the full write-up — enough to see whether the notes are any good before you pay.
What languages does it handle?+
Over 100. The notes come back in the language that was spoken, not translated into English first.
What happens to my recordings?+
The audio is used to produce the transcript and then deleted from the server; your phone keeps its own copy until you delete it. Nothing is used to train a model.
