Walk the site. Roomtone writes the report.

Roomtone records what you say while you walk a site — a property, a job site, a facility — and turns it into a written record you can send or file.

The problems you know too well

You cannot hold a clipboard and a ladder

Typing notes on site means stopping the walkthrough, which nobody has time for.

Details fade before you get back to a desk

The exact wording of what you noticed at the third unit is gone by the fifth.

Voice memos are not a report

An hour of audio nobody will re-listen to is not a record — a written note somebody can search is.

What you get

Talk as you walk

Describe what you see out loud; nothing to hold but your phone, which is already in your hand.

Structured write-up

What was noted, room by room or stop by stop, not a wall of transcript.

Action items

Anything flagged as needing follow-up collected in one list, across every visit.

Works with no signal

Recording keeps going with the screen locked; it processes once you are back online.

Export

Send the report as a PDF or email straight from the site.

Searchable archive

Find the visit where you flagged a specific issue, months later.

Perfect for

  • Property inspectors
  • Real estate walkthroughs
  • Construction site visits
  • Facilities management
  • Insurance adjusters
  • Field service techs

Questions

Does it work without an internet connection on site?+

Recording does, since it only needs the microphone. Roomtone processes the recording into a transcript and write-up once your phone has a connection again.

Does a bot join my meeting?+

Only if you send one. Paste a Zoom, Meet or Teams link and a notetaker joins that meeting, visible to everyone in it. For anything else — a table, a car, a site walk — Roomtone records the room from your phone, where no bot can go at all.

Is there a free plan?+

Yes. Three recordings, up to 30 minutes each, with the full write-up — enough to see whether the notes are any good before you pay.

What languages does it handle?+

Over 100. The notes come back in the language that was spoken, not translated into English first.

What happens to my recordings?+

The audio is used to produce the transcript and then deleted from the server; your phone keeps its own copy until you delete it. Nothing is used to train a model.
